Tomorrow, 3/17, students are called to BISFA at 6pm in their concert attire. Students will have a rehearsal and should bring a snack.
The Concert start time has been pushed to 8pm.
Celebrate your 6th–9th grade string players through MSO Youth Strings, a collaborative program with public school music educators that provides high-quality musical experiences for students while supporting teacher development. Students rehearse in county-based and combined ensembles with guest conductors and MSO musicians, and participating educators may earn optional MSDE credit. Grounded in the belief that excellence exists at every ability level, the program is based on teacher recommendation rather than auditions to expand access and support student growth and retention. Serving Frederick and Washington Counties, registration for the 2026 program has concluded. The 2026 MSYS ensemble will perform alongside our MSO Side-By-Side orchestra on Tuesday, March 16th.
