The Maryland Symphony Orchestra invites you to nominate an outstanding high school student as our Student Musician of the Month! Every month of the concert season, the selected student receives a certificate of excellence on stage at an MSO concert. Nominations are voted on by the Maryland Symphony Orchestra Education Committee throughout the year.
Recommendations may come from teachers/school administrators and private instructors. To nominate a student (grades 9 – 12), please complete and submit the online nomination form, which will go live at the end of the Summer.
The committee will vote on nominations and selected students will be informed along with their teachers and parents via email throughout the concert season. Nominating a student does not guarantee their position as a Student Musician of the Month.
