19th ANNUAL ANTIETAM SPARKLE

This year’s Sparkle will be a mix of treasured past traditions and new twists. Under lighted tents on the ‘other side’ of the Historic Mumma Farm House guests will enjoy the wide-open panoramic view of the beautiful pristine Antietam National Battlefield throughout the event.

Singer songwriter Jennie Avila will perform selections from her new CD “Love & Lore of the Civil War” and a picnic buffet with rotisserie chicken and roasted pork cooked on-site will be sure to delight.

Many favorite Sparkle traditions will remain, including a cannon firing demonstration by Battlefield re-enactors, the ever popular raffle and auction, and energized casual socializing amongst MSO supporters! Meet and greet MSO Music Director Elizabeth Schulze and special guest Hagerstown native and actor Christopher Boyer who played the role of Robert E. Lee in LINCOLN.

Reservations are $75.00 per person and include an cocktail hour at 6:00 pm, picnic buffet and desserts starting at 7:30 pm.  Each reservation includes a $25.00 charitable contribution to the MSO.  All proceeds benefit the Maryland Symphony Orchestra.

Reserved seating, tables of 8.  Casual summer dress.  No Tickets will be mailed.  Reservations will be held in the name of the guest at the event check-in.  Tickets on-sales through Friday, July 28, 2013.
