MSO BOARD MEMBER HUGH TALTON
HONORED BY ASSOCIATION OF FUNDRAISING
PROFESSIONALS, WESTERN MARYLAND CHAPTER

Hugh J. Talton, M.D. was recognized as a Distinguished Volunteer at the AFP, Western Maryland Chapter National Philanthropy Day Luncheon held at Hollow Creek Country Club in Middletown, MD on Friday, November 9, 2012.

Since joining the MSO Board of Directors during the 2001-2002 Season, Hugh has served on the Development Committee, including the last 6 seasons as its chair or co-chair.

Over the last decade of service he has personally secured the support of the his colleagues throughout the Washington County Medical Community to join him and his wife Marty in sponsoring a variety of MSO music performances.  Through this consistent and tireless effort, Hugh has raised over $200,000 and cultivated countless relationships with new volunteers and donors for the orchestra.

The MSO was thrilled to nominate Dr. Talton for this ‘unwavering’ effort.
