Maryland Symphony Orchestra Participates
In The Arts Step-Up Program

The Maryland Symphony Orchestra has joined forces with Maryland Citizens for the Arts and other arts organizations across the state of Maryland in offering furloughed state employees discount offers to select special events, performances and concerts.

This special program “The Arts Step Up” was designed to salute State employees for their hard work and commitment to public service and the citizens of Maryland. It is hoped this program will help ease the challenges employees are facing due to the recent furloughs.

The MSO will be offering a “two-for-one” opportunity for all of our Masterworks Concerts in October, November, February, March and April.  Since a State identification badge will be required at the time of purchase, ticket buyers must come in person to the MSO office at 30 W. Washington Street, Hagerstown (Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.).  Individual tickets start at $22 and processing fees will be waived. You may also purchase tickets on the evening or afternoon of a performance at the Maryland Theatre Box Office beginning ninety minutes before the concert.

For information on the Masterworks Series, go to www.marylandsymphony.org or call 301-797-4000.  Information on participating organizations can be found at www.mdarts.org.
