The Maryland Symphony Orchestra Names New Development Manager
Hagerstown, MD…..The Maryland Symphony
Orchestra announced today that Vicki Willman has joined that MSO administrative
staff as Development Manager. Vicki Willman joins the MSO with 20
years of development experience, most recently with Maryland Public
Television, where she served as Regional Account Executive in Corporate
Development, working with Maryland -based companies and foundations
in program and initiative partnerships.
A native of Bismarck, North Dakota, Ms. Willman was Director of Annual
& Planned Giving at the University of Mary and has held positions
as Regional Director for the Sacred Heart Benedictine Foundation in
Richardton, ND, as Manager of Corporate Development at Wisconsin Public
Television in Madison, Wisconsin, and as an associate in the Corporate
Support department at Prairie Public Broadcasting. She taught music
in the public schools prior to assuming management of a family-owned
business.

us here at the Maryland Symphony Orchestra,” commented Brendan
Fitzsimmons, MSO Board of Directors President. “Her knowledge
and experience will help us in our efforts to expand the Orchestra's
offerings and serve as an important resource for our community.”
Ms. Willman is a graduate of the University of Mary where she earned
her Bachelor of Science Degree in Music and Secondary Education and
studied percussion performance. She serves as Principal Percussionist
for the Hopkins Symphony Orchestra and as Timpanist for the Baltimore
Symphonic Band.
The Maryland Symphony Orchestra, now in its 24th season, is the area’s
premiere professional orchestra, dedicated to providing musical performances
and programs that educate and entertain while enhancing the cultural
environment of Western Maryland and the surrounding region. |
