MSO Announces Change to Kinder Konzert Schedule

Hagerstown, MD…The Maryland Symphony Orchestra announces a schedule change to the final Kinder Konzert of the season, to be held on Thursday, May 27, 2004 at the Smithsburg High School Auditorium. There will now be one concert at 9:15 a.m., rather than concerts at 9:00 and 10:30 a.m., as previously scheduled. This free concert for preschool-aged listeners will feature the Smithsburg High School Orchestra.

The Kinder Konzert program is part of the Maryland Symphony Orchestra educational outreach program, which includes BrassWorks performances for Washington County children in grades five through eight, StringSounds for elementary school students, the Citi Youth Concerts at the Maryland Theatre for area fourth graders, and the MSO Guild’s Symphony Saturdays for grades one through three.
