The MSO salutes a cinematic giant who, over the course of nearly six decades, has composed some of the most popular and recognizable film scores in the history of motion pictures. Williams has received five Academy Awards and twenty-one Grammy Awards for a body of work
that includes such notable films as Jaws, Star Wars, E.T. the Extra Terrestrial, Schindler’s List, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Superman, Indiana Jones, Saving Private Ryan, and War Horse.
