MSO Guild Presents Annual Fundraiser Featuring “THE HUBCAPS”

Wednesday, October 5th, 2011

Hagerstown, MD—The Maryland Symphony Orchestra Guild will be Rockin’ and Raisin’  with The Hubcaps on Saturday, November 5, 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at the Hager Hall Conference and Event Center on the Dual Highway in Hagerstown.  Along with the Hubcaps, the evening will include dinner, dancing and live and silent auctions. Dress is cocktail or period attire. The cost is $85 per person.  The deadline for purchasing tickets is October 21.

Since 1983, the MSO Guild has been presenting an annual black tie event (The MSO Ball) to benefit the Maryland Symphony Orchestra.  This year, the Guild has opted for a much less formal affair by inviting their guests to travel back and celebrate the happy days of the 1950s to the changing times of the 1960s through music.

The Fabulous Hubcaps is one of the nation’s most sought after oldies and classic rock show bands.  Their career has been as diverse and colorful as the bowling shirts they wear.  On any given month, their schedule may take them from Miami to Pittsburgh, Atlanta to Detroit or Albany to Washington, DC.  Inducted into the Southern Legends Entertainment and Performing Arts Hall of Fame in 2005, The Fabulous Hubcaps have been the choice of entertainment for decades.

For tickets (advance sale only) or more information, call the MSO office, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. or register online at www.msoguild.com.  Preview auction items will be available online after October 15.

The purpose of the Guild is to support and promote the growth of the Maryland Symphony Orchestra through financial, educational and social endeavors.
