Little Maestros introduces our youngest musicians to the world of orchestral music through singing, movement, listening and playing instruments. Children ages 2 to 5 years and their parents/caregivers are invited to take part in these classes which are designed to help develop social, cognitive, emotional, physical and of course, musical skills. Little Maestros gives children the opportunity to interact and build relationships with other children their age while learning new musical skills and the movement exercises help develop body awareness, coordination and spatial relationships. Each six week session focuses on a different family of instruments, introducing children to the entire orchestra over the course of the year.
